Several feats are added in 2008!

To begin with, the event now hosts both the all-terrain Salon/4x4 Salon and the Off-Road Festival. To accommodate the largest gathering of off-road vehicles in Québec, we have relocated the event to a new site. Hence, with more than 2000000 square feet, we are now the largest outdoors motorized show in Canada, and one of the largest in America. The site is located near the limits in between the Municipality of St-Esprit and Ste-Julienne,

in Montcalm County of Lanaudière Region. The civic address of the site is 204 Rang Montcalm, at the Sugar bush domain “Cabane à sucre des sportifs”.

An added feature that will be appreciated by families with young children is our new Family Zone, offered by Volkswagen St-Eustache. There, the youngsters will be able to enjoy slides, games, face painting and other surprises. This feat is sure to please all at this annual Off-Road Festival for the whole family.

The cultural side of the Festival brings lots of novelties too!

The All-Terrain Salon/4x4 Salon and Off-Road Festival has now instituted a young performer’s show offered by Caisse Populaire Desjardins de Montcalm. This cultural feature will be presented by the members of the Lanaudière youth homes (Maisons des jeunes de Lanaudière). Those performances will be followed by the singing of the JEV Gospel Choir comprising 20 young voices.

As closing show of this year’ Off-Road Festival, on Sunday afternoon, our spoke-person Martin Deschamps will honour us with his on-stage Rock performance!

And for the Saturday night performance, we will present the show of the new Rock Band SENS, heard on the radio with their new album “Hey Baby”.

The students of l'École de Technologie Supérieure (Université du Québec) will proudly show their “green” snowmobile. They actually won different awards for its performance, and will let you in about its design.

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to discover new off-road vehicles on the market.

New equipments for the Canadian Armed Forces’ Missions!

For those who dared to hesitate there was no question that we could get them out as we hooked up our equipment to them prior to the commencement of the competition in order to pull them out should their 4x4 or ATV's get bogged down in the mud. It can be said that at the end of the competiton we could count on one hand just how many 4x4’s and ATV’s persevered. It is with great pleasure to both our spectators and competitors that we have included this activity in our program once again this year much to the delight of those participants who missed out on this mud jamboree last year.
