The Off Road Challenge organization is proud to announce the participation of Mr. Martin Deschamps on their tracks for the special event “The show business off road challenge” to the Ste-Justine Hospital Foundation’ benefit. This will consist of ATV manoeuvring with speed and accuracy on our expert track. The winning team will be the one that will have the higher score, or the one which the members will have lost the least points... (plenty of fun ahead!)

You are invited to come and see our guests from the show business amongst which will be Martin Deschamps and Suzie Villeneuve who are both off road enthusiasts!

Be escorted to the podium by Kristina, Lydia, or Marie-Ève, our three Miss Blue Jean, and receive your trophy from the hands of our charming hostess Ms. Josée Bégin. They will add beauty to your picture taking sessions!

For the 7th season of the OFF ROAD FESTIVAL, we introduce a 4x4 extreme competition as being The Challenge Canam 4X4.com

This is the introduction of a challenge to test the 4x4 pilots on a realistic controlled track. The participants will be categorized according to qualifying trials (The participants will face points deductions for incorrect or non allowed manoeuvres, such as backing-up, going beyond the marking posts or necessitating assistance).

The circuit will have different curves leading to 5 crossings:

• A crossing of tree logs (4)
• A crossing of stones (about 12 ft long)
• A crossing of mud (15 ft long)
• A crossing of mud (30 ft long)
• A crossing of 4 subsequent and alternating bumps

Note: The above description is of general intent and subject to modification for logistic and safety reasons.

The Off Road Festival / ATV Salon & Salon 4X4 enthusiasts will have the opportunity to add to their laurels by participating to the Saturday night ATV Rock Crawling event.

Novices welcome!

Following the many requests from the participants, the Off Road Festival / ATV & 4X4 Salons’ organizers have decided to extend the Rock Crawling trail with bigger rocks to allow the Dune Buggies and other modified 4X4’ owners to demonstrate their abilities.

But do not forget: The regular Rock Crawling competition is on the program again this year!

The Off Road / ATV Salon & 4X4 Salon will present exhilarating demonstrations this year with the contribution of the Association des trialistes du Québec.

A total blow-out! Do not miss it at the exhibition grounds.

The Argo drivers’ ability competition will request that the participants pick-up tennis balls floating in a pond (of a certain size...).

Rokon – The second oldest North American motorcycle manufacturer, just after Harley Davidson. Actually, the Rokon factory is in New Hampshire and the brand has been in production for more than 50 years. This motorcycle is characterized by being the sole true two wheel drive motorcycle ever built. Effectively, it is a 2x2 motorcycle on which the power is transferred to the 2 wheels by a driving shaft that provide equal power to both wheels via a three speed automatic transmission and a planetary gear box (differential). The Rokon puts out enough torque in first gear to provide a pull of 13.3 kN (3 000 lb-force) and can reach 60 km/h in third gear. Also noteworthy, is the TrailBreaker model which has a mass of only 95.5 kg (210 lb) with it’s solid aluminium wheels and has the particular feat of floating on waters... It is not a racer, but an all terrain vehicle that will bring you anywhere you want to go!

Three seats are available in the chopper. This activity costs $49.00 per person
