A new competition
Off-road radio controlled models racing championship
This year, along with the manned competitions, the Off-road Festival is having its first RC-Challenge championship of off-road radio controlled models on a specially built circuit. Lightning fast radio-controlled 1/5th scale replicas speeding over 90 km/hr will be part of the fest. A show not to be missed!
The participant’s training/familiarization with the circuit will be held Saturday August 13th, from 10 am to 5 pm. The qualifications for the race will start Sunday August 14th at 10 am, and the championship race will start at 1 pm. It is mandatory to register in advance at a cost of $40. The race is for two categories of vehicles: 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive.
For any question or to register, contact Norman Renaud of RC-Challenge at (514) 606-2299 or visit the Web site www.rc-challenge.com.

You are expected at our new Pavillon des artisans
People in love with their art will introduce you to the materials they use for their creations: leather, wood, stained glass, metals, stone, pearls, wax, paint, etc. So, you will have the opportunity to exchange with some twenty craft persons, would they be jewellery designers, painters, sculptors or other creation artists.
It is with pleasure that I support the 9th edition of the Off-Road Festival & ATV + 4x4 Salon. What is the largest gathering of off-road vehicles in the province, gives the opportunity to the enthusiasts and outdoors men and women to share their passion during a festive week end.
I extend a personal invitation to visit this year new craftsmanship tent:
Le Pavillon des artisans!
Happy festivities to everyone!
